If you are at all interested in this exciting part of our nation's history you have undoubtedly looked into buying gear, but unfortunately weather you spend high dollars, buy at "the best" suttler, or just rummage through e-bay it can be very difficult to get good quality gear with the correct stamps, markings etc.  With that said a good uniform and gear for the average enlisted man will run you somewhere in the $1500.00-$2200.00 range. 

 

No don't close the browser just yet, most of the seasoned veterans to reenacting and most units that have been around for a while have loaner gear.  We will loan you a uniform until you can get the gear yourself or in some cases we will sell you the loaner gear at a resonable price.

 

Now for the GOOD NEWS the 13th Kansas has many uniforms for loan on a first come first serve basis.
