Why Reenact?

Our re-enactments are living lessons in history, transforming textbook drawings and old faded photographs into living events. Unlike film presentations, all human senses come into play. You will hear the sound of rifles and cannons, the rattle of equipment and the shouts of the living and the cries of the wounded. The smell of gunpowder will fill your nostrils and the feel of ground-pounding artillery will be felt through your body.

We are American Civil War historians, portraying an important portion of our American History. There are no good guys, no bad guys and no enemy. There are only those American soldiers, Blue and Gray who fought, lived and died for a cause in which they both firmly believed. In the War Between the States, both the North and South honorably fought for their country in their own way.
